I was talking with one of my friends about the importance of friends. I have been blessed with so many good friends. I find something special about each friend and each friend has a significant role in my life. We talked about blogging also, and she had seen that some people had picked 6 friends and described why they meant so much to them on their blog. I thought about this and realized I can not just pick 6 friends I could talk about. I would have a list the length of Santa's! I have friends who have been friends for longer than they have not. Like Marikate. She and I have been best friends since we were 10 years old. We have remained extremely close since the day we met. Then I have friends who I've known since before that...like Beth and Sunny. We have known each other since we were maybe 5-ish, lost touch and through modern technology, have a renewed friendship. Then I have friends I've known since middle and high school...like Kristen, Heather, Rachel, Tricia, Melanie, Leigh, Raegan, Angie, Ashlee, Missy, Arika, Shannon, the list goes on. I have friends I've met through Mike, friends in the neighborhood and friends who are mothers of multiples. It's so awesome to have such a wide and very unique set of friendships.
To all of my friends: I love you! Thanks for all that you offer to our friendship, I only hope I give the same to you!

Ahhh... I wrote a post like this a while ago. It may have been a year or so ago. Don't remember. But my mother is always amazed that thanks to modern technology, I've been able to reconnect with the friends I knew from childhood. I mean, you and Sunny were a huge part of my life and you understand a lot about me because you were in my life when we were growing up. You understand why I may think the way I do or respond to things the way I do because you were a part of my childhood. Not only that, but Robin's life and subsequent death had a profound effect on my life, and you knew her! So you probably understand more when I talk about her than friends I made after her passing.
I love you too! And be rest assured...you offer a great deal of love and support to not only me, but everyone you meet!
Love, Beth
